What Topical News Center collects, which is very little.
No accounts, no tracking cookies
Topical News Center has no login, no newsletter signup and no comment system. We set no cookies of our own and run no third-party analytics or advertising scripts. There is nothing on this site that follows you between visits.
Server logs
The site is served by Vercel, which keeps short-lived operational logs (IP address, user agent, requested path) to deliver pages and mitigate abuse. We do not use those logs to build profiles of visitors.
Search
Searches run against the headlines already loaded on our server. The query travels in the URL so the page can render it, and it is not stored.
Content from other sites
Thumbnails come directly from the publishers' own image servers, so loading a page makes a request to those hosts. Following a headline hands you off to the publisher, where their privacy policy applies, not ours.
